Overview
This REMIS – ORACLE EXADATA film reframes a B2B tech product as a cinematic character. Instead of a static rack, EXADATA becomes a self-defending machine that responds to threats. The goal is simple: communicate security and power in seconds, clearly on mobile and striking on large displays.
Concept & Narrative
The story opens on a silent rack. A bird lands—a tiny, symbolic intrusion. Instantly, status lights wake up; panels shift; mechanisms align; and the rack transforms into a defense robot. The beat lands on a confident hero pose: strength, readiness, and protection, expressed through motion rather than specs.
Production & Pipeline
I directed and produced the piece end-to-end. Blender handled modeling, rigging, mechanical animation, materials, and lighting. After Effects covered compositing, sound sync, and finishing so the mechanical cues punch on every hit. Deliverables were prepared for 16:9 web plus 4:5 / 9:16 social, with poster frames and captions for accessibility and shareability.
Outcome
By turning the EXADATA rack into a responsive character, the film gives REMIS a memorable product story that scales across booth screens, website sections, and social posts. The transformation metaphor makes security feel active and human—something you can sense, not just read.
