I’m Ehsan Azadinejad, a 3D artist and animation director, working as a 3D motion designer, 3D animator, CG generalist and motion graphics artist. I craft cinematic motion design, stylized 3D worlds and character-driven stories that help products and brands feel clear, emotional and memorable.

I collaborate with startups, tech, fintech and infrastructure brands, turning complex ideas into simple visual narratives that work across websites, apps, launch films and social media.

Who I am


 

My background in industrial design taught me how form, function and experience must work together. Over time I moved from product thinking into 3D art, animation direction and visual storytelling.

Today, my work sits at the intersection of:

  • 3D art and look development

  • Animation direction and motion design

  • Character, mascot and icon design

  • Concept art and visual development

  • Cinematic editing and rhythm

I enjoy building cohesive visual systems, not just isolated “cool shots” – so a brand can look and feel consistent from landing page to product film and social posts.

What I do


 

As a 3D artist and animation director, I help teams with:

  • 3D product and app films – especially for fintech and tech products

  • Motion graphics and explainer videos for digital products and services

  • Character and mascot design for brands, campaigns and apps

  • Stylized 3D icons, UI elements and soft, futuristic visuals for websites

  • Cinematic intros and showreels for portfolios, apps and brand events

I often wear multiple hats as a 3D motion designer, CG generalist and visual storyteller, taking projects from first idea to final rendered video.

Over the last years I’ve worked with and for several brands, including:

  • Simotech (Simorgh Tejarat) – a technology and fintech company where I’ve created 3D and motion content for campaigns and internal products.

  • Bajet (a fintech app under Simotech) – 3D product films, card animations, UI motion and stylized visuals to communicate financial features in a friendly way.

  • Remis – a separate B2B infrastructure and datacenter brand, where I’ve worked on 3D storytelling, mascot and product visuals to support their “ocean of solutions” positioning.

  • DARVAGCloud – an infrastructure-focused brand where I helped design stylized 3D and motion graphics to make complex systems clearer and more approachable.

  • WordUp app (Geeks Ltd, London, UK) – an English vocabulary learning app where I worked as a motion designer, animating in-app mascots and producing 2D cut-out explainer animations to make language learning more fun and engaging.

Alongside commercial work, I’m also developing personal animation and illustration projects, which help me experiment with framing, color and storytelling beyond client briefs.

How I work


 

My pipeline as a 3D artist, 3D animator and motion graphics artist usually looks like this:

  1. Discovery & brief
    Understanding your product, audience, pain points and desired emotions.

  2. Concept & visual direction
    Styleframes, references, mood, color palettes and motion direction.

  3. Design & modeling
    Characters, props, environments, UI elements and overall visual language.

  4. Animation & motion design
    Camera work, timing, character acting, transitions and motion graphics.

  5. Lighting, shading & rendering
    Building a cinematic yet readable look that works for your brand.

  6. Compositing, editing & sound
    Pacing, rhythm, typography, sound design and final delivery for web and social.

The goal is always the same: combine clear information with emotional impact.

Tools & skills


 

As a CG generalist and 3D motion designer, I use:

  • Blender – modeling, rigging, animation, shading, lighting, rendering

  • Substance Painter & ZBrush – detailed texturing and sculpting when needed

  • Unreal Engine – real-time rendering and cinematic scenes

  • After Effects & Premiere Pro – compositing, motion graphics and editing

  • Corel Painter, Photoshop, Clip Studio, TVPaint – illustration, digital painting and frame-by-frame animation

  • Storyboarding & animatics – planning stories before heavy production

On the learning side, I’ve completed courses in:

  • 2D animation filmmaking

  • Hard-surface modeling and texturing

  • Anatomy, sculpting and character modeling

  • Advanced digital painting and visual storytelling

This mix lets me move flexibly between character art, 3D animation and motion design depending on the project.

Currently


 

Right now, I’m:

  • Creating 3D animation and motion design for Simotech and its fintech app Bajet

  • Collaborating with infrastructure brands like Remis, Darvag on stylized 3D visuals and mascots

  • Building my personal portfolio and showreels to connect with international studios and clients

  • Developing personal short animation and concept art projects to push my style and storytelling
